A green pattern occurs where the gold and blue overlap.  The leaves have an incredible thick substance and are held more upright than 'June'.  Lavender flowers top the clump in midsummer. (P. (L. Jones, 1999) M Gil Jones' 'Warwick Comet' features cupped-shaped white centered leaves with a dark green margin. The white leaf center streaks down the entire leaf petiole which is edged on each side by a narrow green edge. Pale lavender flowers top the flashy clump in midsummer. Unique!
(J. Kupla, 1989) M This incredible sport of 'Fortunei Hyacinthina' features very streaky yellowish-white flares encircled by very dark green margins. The variegation is most pronounced in the spring. Lavender flowers in midsummer. A very popular selection.

(H. Hansen/Shady Oaks Nursery, Registration Pending) L This sport of 'Squash Casserole' exhibits the same rapid growth rate and vigor of its parent, and has variegation to boot! Large oval leaves have a yellow-gold coloration with a dark green edge. Masses of lavender flowers top the large clump in midsummer. (P. Aden, 1978) L Bright gold heavily textured heart-shaped leaves makes this an excellent choice to brighten up shady areas of the garden. The metallic gold puckered leaves of 'Zounds' seem to glow, especially in the evening. White flowers early in the season. Hosta descriptions include an indication of size at maturity.
